Fashion has changed immensely throughout the years. It feels like each decade is a different style. Things that are in style today probably won't be in style in 10 years, maybe even less.

Favorite Stores

I have gathered data on some young teens favorite places to shop. To keep it simple we are only going to be using mall stores. The majority of people say that they like Zara, Urban Outfitters, Pacsun, H&M, Zumiez, and Cotton in Garden State Mall or Willowbrook Mall.

Favorite Shoe Brands

My personal favorite shoe brands would have to be Vans and Adidas. The majority of people buy Jordans, Nike, Adidas, Asics, New  Balance, and Converse. These are just some of the shoe brands people I interviewed wear.

 

What Exactly is Fashion?

Fashion to me is what oxygen is to humans. Clothing is a representation of your personality and how you carry yourself. I feel like everyone has their own style in a way. I like to look at a bunch of different fashion idols and mix things together and just create my own thing. I never go by what's in style or what everyone else is wearing because of the hype. Anything I wear, I wear it because I like it. The colors I usually wear are not too bright. You wouldn't see me wearing neon green, red, orange, or other bright colors like that.  Fall wear is generally a darker version of summer brights, typically based on the outdoor foliage, however, it’s more layered.  This year,  more dark colors, in the tans and different shades of green are predominant to the season. Though, fashion is all about expressing yourself by wearing what you like not what others like.
